Welcome to the Montana Gold Futurity website.

The purpose of the Montana Gold Futurity is to provide a fun and competitive futurity for registered Quarter Horses, Appaloosa Horses, and Paint Horses. Please browse around.

The MGF will be held October 3rd, 2009 at the Circle L Arena in Belgrade, MT. In conjunction with the futurity there will be an APHA show. .

The judge for the Montana Gold Futurity for 2009 is Tom Crowley of Kellog, MN.

     Contestants make a lucky strike at the Montana Gold Futurity held October 3, 2009 at the Circle L Arena in Belgrade, MT. This was the 3rd annual futurity that allows registered Quarter Horses, Paints, and Appaloosas to compete against each other for money. There were over 20 stallions nominated this year with other stallions foals eligible from previous years totaling more than 40 in all.         This year we were fortunate enough to be able to add an extra $1000 to the payout pot thanks to our wonderful sponsors Montana State Fund, Fort Dodge, Carla Schmidt of Farm Bureau Financial Services, Belgrade Insty Prints, and Circle L Arena.              The High Point Halter stallion was Four Times Coy owned by Jack and Hester Rea of Helena, MT.
